Powerful Business-Focused Spreadsheet Plug-in For Google Analytics

Tatvic GA Excel Plug-in Example 

• Simple download and installation. Executable file with an installation wizard.
• Excel 2003 and 2007 compatible.
• An add-in within Excel with four buttons: Login, Add New Data Block, Refresh, and Edit.
• Login using your Google Analytics credentials.
• Choose your Google Analytics Account and Profile and set the date range and date granularity.

1) Login - Click the Login button in Add-Ins ribbon of Excel. The login screen will popup. Enter your Google Analytics user name and password.

2) Add a New Data Block - First enter the profile, start date and end date you would like for your data block somewhere in the Excel spreadsheet. (This info has been entered in cells B2 to B4 in the example below). Next click Add New Data Block Add-Ins ribbon of Excel. To reference the profile, start date, and end date information that you have entered into the Excel spreadsheet click on the Excel reference buttons to the right of the Profile, From, and To fields in Step 1 of the data block insertion shown below.

Choose date granularity: None, Date (Day), Week, Month, or Year.

2a) The Excel pop-up window that pops up after clicking on the Excel reference button is shown below. The screenshot below shows the pop-up for From Date (Start Date). Click on the Excel cell with the data to be referenced, in this case cell B3.
